St. Paul's Boys National School

Parents' Association

Members of parent association: Mr Pat Keating (chairperson), Mr Tony Power (assistant chairperson) Joan Barry (secretary), Julianne Cox (treasurer), Sandra Griffin, Samantha Mortell and Ann Kavanagh.

Parent Association Timetable of Events is as follows:

  • September - collect E10 family contribution
  • December – bag pack in Tesco, Lisduggan
  • February – Valentine teddy bear raffle
  • April – connect 4 challenge
  • May – chess tournament
  • June – skipathon
  • June – fun / sports day

We would like to welcome parents, grandparents and guardians of the boys as volunteers in school activities.

The winners of the Valentines teddy bear raffle were:
1st prize: Aaron Connolly 4th class
2nd prize: James Hutchinson 5th class
3rd prize: Jack Noonan 4th class

This year our December collection will take place in Superquinn, it is a door collection (not a bag pack) and we would appreciate if some parents/grandparents/guardians would volunteer an hour or two to help us out when the time comes. Thank you.

When parents and teachers work together, children are the winners. Here in St. Paul's we value the huge role parents play in their children’s learning.

Parents' Room

The parents room is a space within the school for parents use, for meetings, courses, coffee mornings and much more.

Thank you to the Parents' Association

"A big thank you to our Parents' Association" from all the boys and staff for their support to us over the last year. We have been able to get a number of projects off the ground as a result of their contribution. With the proceeds of their fundraising projects, we now have a brand new stage; guitars, keyboards and recorders for our music lessons. They also funded the design of this website which was designed by a past pupil of ours, William Hayes.

School Closure

Please note that the school will be closed on Thursday, 27 October, 2011 to accomodate the presidential election.
