Welcome to Junior Infants
Everyday at 11:00 we have fun with Ready, Set, Go Maths. We are going to be brilliant mathematicians thanks to the wide array of concrete material that we work with every day.
Bíonn áthas orainn ár gcuid Gaeilge a úsáid, go mórmhór le "Dia dhuit" agus "Slán" a abairt le gach duine a thagann isteach go dtí ár seomra!
Our visits to the Halla twice a week for P.E. help to keep us fit and healthy and active. We go every Monday and Friday. The games we play in the yard are also good fun and we love meeting and making friends at play time. Everyday we walk in to our líne with our buddies from 5th class. They are so cool!
We are learning all about ourselves and the world around us during SESE and SPHE lessons. We love to go outside on nature walks to see how the seasons effect the plants that are growing in our lovely school environment.
We learn about God and His love for us during our Alive-O lessons.
At Christmas we put on a play about the birth of Jesus called "Shine Star Shine". We loved all the singing, dancing and acting. Our parents thought we were great!
In our Junior Infant class we try to follow these rules:
- Use your manners
- Play fair.
- Share
- Put things back where you found them.
- Don't take things that aren't yours.
- Say sorry when you hurt someone.
- Listen to other people as you would like them to listen to you.
We think that if we follow all of these, we will be very good boys indeed!
Now Enrolling for Junior Infants
We are now enrolling new Junior Infants for September. Please contact the office to find out more about our Open Day.
Thank you to the Parents' Association
"A big thank you to our Parents' Association" from all the boys and staff for their support to us over the last year. We have been able to get a number of projects off the ground as a result of their contribution. With the proceeds of their fundraising projects, we now have a brand new stage; guitars, keyboards and recorders for our music lessons. They also funded the design of this website which was designed by a past pupil of ours, William Hayes.
